Thigh - Buttock Lift

The aesthetics of the thighs and buttocks have always been an important element of the appearance of women and men. The sagging and drooping of the area, which is usually due to significant weight loss or aging, is difficult to improve with exercise. Usually, more surgical interventions are required.

What is a thigh and buttock lift?

It is the procedure where excess loose skin is removed, and at the same time, the tissue in the area is redistributed and supported in a higher position.

How long does the procedure take?

The procedure lasts 2 to 4 hours.

What anesthesia is needed?

The procedure is performed under general anesthesia.

How long does recovery take?

After the surgery, the patient stays in the hospital for 24 to 48 hours. While there is some pain, it is likened to a sense of discomfort.

The patient must wear a compression garment for 4 weeks and return to work in 5-10 days, depending on the type of work. Exercise may resume after 6 weeks.

Are there incisions?

Yes. The size and location of the incision depends on the size of the problem to be corrected. While the ideal location of the incision is in an area that will be covered by underwear, it is not always possible.
