Chemical Peeling

A chemical peel is a technique to improve and smooth the texture of the skin by using a chemical solution to remove the top layers of the skin, revealing the more youthful skin underneath. It is a common procedure that is both effective and economical.

How does it work to renew the texture of the face?

With this process, dead cells are removed, new skin is created, and collagen and elastin production is stimulated.

The benefits of a chemical peel:

– Improves the appearance of your oily skin
– Treats scars
– Removes discolorations (spots, freckles)
– Smoothes fine wrinkles

Where and how is the treatment done?

The application is done in the doctor’s office and takes about 10 minutes. The degree of discomfort is minimal.

What is the recovery time?

After the treatment there may be some minor irritation to the skin, which subsides in 30 minutes at most. After 3-4 days the peeling (exfoliation) of the skin begins. The degree and duration of peeling depends on the strength of the chemical peel (light, medium, deep).

When is the effect of the treatment evident?

Once exfoliation is complete.

With what other treatments can chemical peel be combined?

Botox, Hyaluronic acid, Mesotherapy, Face Lift, Fractional Laser.
